Introducing the FXCRC National Coordinator

Sharon Kidd, MPH, PhD

I am the new National Coordinator of the Fragile X Clinical and Research Consortium (FXCRC) working in the NFXF office in Walnut Creek (5 minutes from my home for the last 14 years!). My work as the National Coordinator will take me around the country to the over 25 clinics and counting that are part of the Consortium and that serve individuals with fragile X syndrome to meet their health and support needs. I am an epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience in the field, most recently working in research on sleep and cortisol in preschool-aged children with autism. I am excited to join the NFXF team in making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by Fragile X-associated Disorders.
