CFXF
- Upcoming Events
JOINT CFXF - FRAXA FUNDRAISER ON THURSDAY,
OCTOBER 19TH
Conquer Fragile X Foundation will join with FRAXA
Research Foundation in a joint fundraising event
to benefit both groups. It will be held at the
Green Valley Country Club, Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania
and will be attended by more than 350 individuals.
The featured activity will be a fashion show provided
by SAKS Fifth Avenue, and there will be a broad
range of auction items including accommodations
at the Aspen Club and free airline tickets donated
by US Air. Our own Kathy Doring, has made up some
very special baskets filled with delectables and
other items, and was able to arrange for gift
items donated by Disney World to be sent up for
the auction. Randy Green also has provided some
sports valuables for the auction. This entire
event has been coordinated by Cristy Hollin, a
member of the Board of Directors of FRAXA, and
Harris Hollin. The chairpersons are: Marla &
Robert Friedman, Nicole & Todd Kendall, Jamie
& Warren Klien. The chairpersons have assembled
an outstanding committee of 150 prominent Philadelphians.
Our thanks to all for this outstanding event.

hotel, The Colony Hotel, on Palm Beach. Several
Congressional legislators representing Florida
have been invited and, hopefully, will be able
to join us.
Outreach to Fragile X families in the area has
become an important part of our efforts and this
occasion will introduce many of these families
to each other, and let them know they are not
alone, that "help is on the way".

Leaders, Wende Banks and Randy Green will represent
Conquer Fragile X Foundation which was invited

who were attending the conference. Also attending
the Conference was Dr. Ruth Gershoni-Baruch of
Ram Bam Hospital in Haifa. She and Harris had
