Become a NFXF-affiliated Parent Contact and/or Organize a Parent Resource Group in Your Area
The NFXF routinely refers individuals and families to our network of Parent contacts and Resource Groups around the US.
Parent Resource Groups
are groups of parents in a local area who organize support meetings, social gatherings and workshops. Leaders of resource groups also agree to be parent contacts. The Foundation does not require local organizations to pay dues to become or remain affiliated, other than that the lead person of each group maintains a current membership. However, the Foundation does request that you and your group engage in fundraising activities to benefit the National Fragile X Foundation. The NFXF staff and development committee co-chairs are both available to assist you with your planning. The Foundation may also wish to organize combination awareness/fundraising events in your community
Parent Contacts are parents who agree to have their phone numbers made available to other parents in their area, especially those with newly diagnosed children. To Learn More
