A note from Margaret Israel, Past President

It is with much gratitude that I thank all of you for your wonderful surprises. It was a delicious dinner that Mary Anne and David prepared along with appetizers and desserts from other members. I was so touched by the beautiful gift of the Waterford gavel--that really means a lot to me, and I so appreciate the thought and kindness that went into the present. Thank you, thank you! In addition, I was also impressed that my favorite jeweler, John Love, created a lovely necklace and earring gift set that I enjoy wearing both in individual and twisted strands—many thanks! But you didn't stop there: the thank you cake that Mary Anne ordered, the champagne toast with real glass flutes, and the messages that Diane requested and read from Robby Miller and Linda Sorensen were just additional thoughtful touches. Thanks for making it a special occasion. I so appreciate your wonderful sentiments. There's no turning back now!
