RESEARCH GRANTS
To foster research on fragile X syndrome, The National Fragile X Foundation supports a broad range of research endeavors that will lead to better recognition, treatment and an eventual cure of fragile X
syndrome. The following forms of investigation are potentially appropriate for funding: educational or therapy interventions, medical or molecular interventions, studies of family support and counseling and diagnostic and reproductive
studies. Applications will be judged based on innovation, likelihood of contributing critical new knowledge, and scientific merit.

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS: Basic Science and Clinical Research re: Fragile X Deadline: Fall 2008
With the specific goal of improving the lives of individuals with Fragile X, the National Fragile X Foundation
(NFXF) will award at least one basic science or one clinical grant plus one or more additional grants based on the availability of funds. Grants will be funded based on scores resulting from peer review. A complete description of the

SUMMER STUDENT FELLOWSHIPS Deadline for 2008: April 21, 2008
Each spring, the National Fragile X Foundation funds a number of William & Enid Rosen Summer Student Fellowships of $2,500 each. These grants are
designed to encourage interest in Fragile X research while adding to the Fragile X body of knowledge. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible.
